Absolutely loved the fresh catch at the hotel restaurant! The locally sourced fish was perfection. Plus, the staff were super accommodating, especially with flexible payment during our family crisis. The room was spacious and clean, offering loads of charm.
The TV was broken—no worries, as I wasn’t planning on watching anyway! But the lack of upkeep in other areas, like the ageing bathrooms and cleanliness around the property, showed just a hint of neglect.

Absolutely loved my time at Santa Fe! The hotel exceeded my expectations. The Double Room Terrace was spacious, clean, and had a super comfortable bed. The pools were delightful and provided a tranquil atmosphere to relax. The staff were welcoming and attentive, especially when I practiced my Spanish. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the view of the ocean was fantastic. However, I hope they consider adding more family-friendly pool options because the larger pool is adults-only. Additionally, while the Wi-Fi worked, it was a bit slow. Being at the quieter end of Zicatela was perfect for a peaceful getaway!

The restaurant serves a delicious chile rellenos with almonds that was truly memorable.
Unfortunately, the pool area suffered from a lack of management, particularly in relation to ensuring that guests could use the available loungers, as many were reserved with towels for hours.

The pros, the cons, and everything between
Gorgeous property, adorned with beautiful tile and terracotta! Two wonderful pools offered a chance to cool off while enjoying vibrant vegetation.
Very weak Wi-Fi! The mattresses were a bit firm, which may not suit everyone's taste.

The hotel is perfectly located between the calm Playa Principal and the surfer’s playground of Playa Zicatela. Our family really enjoyed the spacious pools, and the lovely beach was just a hop away. Plus, we appreciated the local dishes served up at the restaurant.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly pool options.

The Double Room in Terrace was nice and spacious, with a super comfortable bed. The room was clean and had plenty of hot water for showers. I liked the unique Mexican charm and the lovely architectural details. However, it could use a little updating. some furniture felt worn out. Also, a washcloth would have been a nice touch. Overall, a cozy spot but a few small upgrades would elevate the experience.

Had an awesome time with friends! The restaurant had fantastic food, and the views were stunning, making it hard to leave. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beautiful beaches. We even explored a nearby village and a bustling town, adding to our adventure!
Had a bit of a disappointing moment when our room lacked a washcloth, which felt like a small oversight.
